These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cfocrew.com, including its articles, guides, templates, workshop information, and other website content. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

If you use the website for or on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. In that situation, "you" includes both you and the organization.

The website is controlled from the United States and designed for a United States business audience. If you access it from another location, you are responsible for complying with applicable local law.

CFOCrew provides CFO advisory, finance transformation, practical AI implementation, and training. Website content describes our capabilities but is not itself a promise to provide a particular service or result.

Every paid advisory or implementation engagement requires a separate written engagement letter or agreement covering scope, deliverables, responsibilities, fees, confidentiality, data handling, and other engagement-specific terms. If an engagement agreement conflicts with these Terms, the engagement agreement controls for that engagement.

Visiting the website, downloading a resource, submitting a contact form, subscribing to an email, or scheduling an introductory conversation does not create an accountant-client, adviser-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. A professional relationship begins only when CFOCrew and the client enter into an applicable written engagement agreement.

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not accounting, financial, tax, legal, investment, cybersecurity, or other professional advice and should not be used as a substitute for advice based on your facts and circumstances. You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it or making a business decision.

You may use our contact and scheduling tools to provide general information about your needs. Ordinary email, the general contact form, and introductory scheduling tools may not provide an appropriate channel for sensitive information. Do not send passwords, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, nonpublic financial records, or similar information through them.

Information submitted before an engagement is established is handled according to our Privacy Policy, but submitting it does not create a duty of professional confidentiality beyond obligations imposed by applicable law. If we need sensitive information, we will arrange an appropriate channel.

CFOCrew's total liability for claims arising solely from website use will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising solely from these Terms or website use must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and each party consents to their jurisdiction and venue. An engagement agreement may establish different dispute terms for professional services.

These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or franchise relationship between you and CFOCrew. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement concerning use of this website, but they do not replace an applicable engagement agreement.

We may update these Terms as the website, our practices, or legal requirements change. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes apply prospectively and will not govern a dispute that arose before the revised Terms took effect. Your continued use of the website after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
