I've spent over 16 years inside finance operations - 13 years at EY, then as a CFO, Controller, and Director at CFGI, the nation's largest non-audit accounting advisory firm. I've led month-end closes, built accounting departments from scratch, implemented complex standards like ASC 606 and CECL, and prepared companies for audit under real pressure.
Now I run CFOCrew, a consulting firm that supports CFOs across finance operations - and I'm the CFO at an AI startup where I'm building a team of AI agents to handle core finance functions. I'm not theorizing about AI in finance. I'm doing it every day.
